Tetanus is caused by clostridium tetani bacteria through skin breach. The tetanus characterized tonic contraction and muscle spasm which can cause vertebral fracture in some patients. we are reporting a young male patient who after ring circumcision technique had complicated into thoracic with severe kyphotic deformity lower limb functional impairment. surgical management was performed two stages: First stage consisted of Shwab 2 osteotomy, pedicle screws rod fixation good result for correction. second surgery involved left transpedicular T6 T5 corpectomies (Shwab 3 osteotomy) plus interbody titanium cage provided spinal cord decompression. still major complication circumcision, may be devastating Early correction decompression provide favorable neurological outcome patients spine post tetanus. Patient able to walk crutches months post-surgery.
